吉林师范大学（Jilin Normal University），简称为“吉林师大”，位于吉林省四平市，是吉林省重点大学，也是教育部卓越教师培养计划入选院校，更是吉林省高中骨干教师培养中心、高校师资培训中心和教师教育研究中心。

吉林师范大学始建于1958年，时名四平师范专科学校，1973年学校升格为四平师范学院， 1962年至1966年吉林省政府先后将通化师专、白城师专、吉林师专合并为四平师范专科学校。2002年学校更名为吉林师范大学。

据2018年10月学校官网显示，吉林师范大学建有四平、长春两个校区，占地面积100万平方米，建筑面积68万平方米；有21个学院，2个教学部，33个研究所，182个实验室；学校教学科研仪器设备总值3.54亿元，固定资产总值15.03亿元；图书馆藏书266.36万册；有全日制本科生17307人，研究生2465人，留学生125人，专科生1595人；有教职工1566人。

Jilin Normal University was founded in 1958, when it was named Siping Normal College. In 1973, it was upgraded to Siping Normal College. From 1962 to 1966, Tonghua Normal College, Baicheng Normal College and Jilin Normal College were merged into Siping Normal College successively by the Jilin Provincial Government. 2002 It was renamed Jilin Normal University.

According to the official website of Jilin Normal University in October 2018, Jilin Normal University has two campuses in Siping and Changchun, covering an area of 1 million square meters and a floor space of 680,000 square meters. It has 21 colleges, 2 teaching departments, 33 research institutes and 182 laboratories. The total value of the university's teaching and research equipment is 354 million yuan, and the total value of its fixed assets is 1.503 billion yuan. The library has a collection of 2.6636 million volumes; There are 17307 full-time undergraduates, 2465 postgraduates, 125 overseas students and 1595 junior college students.
